Paname Brewery: Serving Craft Beer on the Canal!
For great craft beer in Paris, look no further than Paname Brewery. It sits in the 19th arrondissement on a canal called Basin de la Villette, which lies just above Canal Saint Martin. It has both indoor and outdoor seating that overlook the canal.
Paname Brewery: The Beer
Paname offers four or five house craft beers year around. These include a couple of IPAs, a lager, a porter, and a pale ale. In addition, they typically have one or two seasonally brewed beers on tap. There is also usually at least one guest beer available on tap. Finally, they have a selection of bottled beer from local French brewers.
Paname Brewery: The Food
In addition to craft beer, Paname offers a menu that changes seasonally. The menu includes burgers, salads, pizzas, and a variety of other choices that go well with craft beer. It even includes falafel and humus, so there are options for the vegetarians in your group. There are also drinks for none beer drinkers, including coffee, espresso drinks, tea, wine, juices and other spirits. And if you are only in the mood for a snack, there are muffins and chocolate chip cookies.
The Brew Pub
As mentioned, Paname is the place to go for craft beer overlooking the canal. It has a great ambiance that includes brewing equipment in the back, plenty of seating, and a large bar area. On game days, there is a large screen that is pulled down, so you can enjoy great craft beer while watching football or rugby. A portion of the indoor seating overlooks the canal, as does all the outdoor seating.
