La Fine Mousse: Craft Beer Restaurant and Bar
La Fine Mousse consists of two businesses: a bar and a restaurant, located across the street from each other in the Paris 11th arrondissement. The bar opened 2012, and due to its success, the restaurant opened three years later. Both have a friendly staff of bilingual French/English speakers.
La Fine Mousse Bar
The bar typically offers 20 craft beers on tap, as well as an array of bottles. Beer styles include lagers, trappist, porters, stouts, pale ales, IPAs, wheat beers, seasonal beers. According to Romain, one of the owners, there is a full rotation of the beer on tap each month. So every 30 days you can return and try twenty new beers! In addition to beer, the bar offers artisanal ciders and whiskey, small cheese and meat plates.
La Fine Mousse Restaurant
The restaurant offers 8 to 10 craft beers on tap, as well as an array of bottled beers, ciders, wines and whiskeys. The menu, prepared by chef Benjamin Sanchez, changes daily and is designed to pair with the beer offerings. Similar to the bar, the beer choices rotate, however this rotation is daily to match menu offerings. All food is prepared using fresh, seasonal ingredients and tend to fuse different culinary experiences.
Beer Tastings
In addition to the bar and restaurant, La Fine Mousse offers monthly tasting workshops. Offered as beginner (Initiation), discovery (Decouverte) and perfection (Perfectionnement) tasting workshops, they offer the opportunity to taste different beer styles and learn about how flavors, both good and bad, develop.
